Baller Status: 20″ ADVAN RS-D in Bright Chrome

So if you remember a couple of days ago, we had released some photographs of an 8-Pot Greddy Big Brake upgrade for a 370z that is sitting quietly in a vicinity here in Houston. Well, those big brakes need to be paired with some big baller wheels, especially for a car with a butt and front as wide as a Fairlady 370z. These pictures are only of the front, I never got to the rears. As you can see, these fresh new Advan RS-D’s are going to sit very nicely on the 370z. I still can’t get past the Bright Crome finish, it goes hard, hella hard.

Event Coverage: TX2K10 Supra Nationals Dyno Day – Show’n’Shine

Sorry about the delay, but work was starting to pile up for me, and here we go!

The annual TX2K events in Houston is a tradition for myself and Khiem, our photographer. Earliest I can recall going to these events were back in 2002. The series of events happens over the course of 4 days, with each day being a little more different than the previous. Drag, Road course, 60 to 130 to name a few. Of all of the days, there is always one that I look forward to, and thats the Dyno Day and Show N Shine.

Gangster Stuff: Greddy 8-Piston BBK for Nissan 370Z from Top Secret Japan

So this past weekend I was rummaging about town and I came across this “top secret” tuner’s house that was hidden in a nook on the west end of town. Well, I wouldn’t say secret, but you get what I am saying. I love it when people build crazy ass rides out of the garage of their homes. This “location” in particular is owned by a Japanese gent who just so happens to be part of the Mayday Collective and an associate of our pals over at Planet Zero. When we stopped by the house this past weekend a few parts had just flown in from Japan, one of which was a set of Greddy 8 piston BBK for the 370z as well as the 6 piston rear from TOP SECRET Japan. Featured here is the front 8 piston with disk. Continue on for more pictures, it really doesn’t get much sexier than this.

According to many of the interviews that we have given for Import Reactor Drift, it seems that Mr. DeNofa is the man to beat on April 1st. With a turbo charged electric money green BMW E36 M3, Chelsea too has a bit of weight that he will be bringing to the table.

Another contender this year for I.R. Drift 2010 is Houston’s own, Ameen Rizvi. Ameen, who has gained quite a bit of local support over the past few years will be laying it down Arab $$ Money style for Import Reactor Drift 2010. Ameen will be battling it out in his super sweet 2JZ swapped Cressida Grocery Getter for I.R. Drift.
