Jun-san’s Garage Advance NSX circa 2016

It’s been awhile since we’ve updated and I apologize for that. @maydayjohnp has been hard at work dealing with  The Rice Box Truck  business and I’ve been trying to play catch up with video and photo work from my own clients. Now that we’re settling down from work, I’m going to post a few random photo sets from our trip starting with Jun-san’s Garage Advance NSX from the Fresh Tokyo Car Meet by Super Street and Hardcore Japan.

@maydayjohnp was like a little fan girl seeing a J-pop star in person… I have to admit, I was too…

Back to back NA1 NSX’s. @js_nsx in front and @sardonyx3 (Yoshi-san) in the back…

For this trip, I only had a 50mm lens with me so you guys will have to deal with shallow depth of fields. With that being said, this is Jun-san’s C30A engine… I wish I can tell you the specs, but @maydayjohnp has all specs and information about this car…

He even has a mini hot wheels version of his car in the bay…

Volk TE37SL’s is the standard wheel choice for track cars in Japan, but Jun-san abuses his NSX on both the street and the track…

A Google Nexus tablet is Honda ECU configured to run Jun-san’s defi system. Simple design but so cool to have…

Walking towards the front of the car, you’ve gotta notice a pair of CF hood louvers…

Check out the taper fade on the CF hood…

There’s a bunch of detail on this car that I’ve probably missed but I’m sure @maydayjohnp has it in his archive of photos somewhere…

Here is @maydayjohnp talking with Jun-san about his future NSX build … something along the lines of a K swap with 1000hp. I’m with Jun-san and nodding, “Sure buddy…”
