Hailing from Seabrook (Houston Area), Tx comes BMW drifter Chelsea DeNofa. Chelsea, a Philly native, has been drifting across America since 2003. According to many of the interviews that we have given for Import Reactor Drift, it seems that Mr. DeNofa is the man to beat on April 1st. With a turbo charged electric money green BMW E36 M3, Chelsea too has a bit of weight that he will be bringing to the table.
Name: Chelsea DeNofa
Weight: 170 lbs
Height: 5ft 11in
Blood Type: R for rad
Preference in Women: My Lovely lady friend
The Racers Market
BC Racing Suspension
Secret Service Auto
Chelsea has also been picked up by local VIP crew, Refined Elegance. Refined Elegance, notorious for some of the sickest VIP rides in North America is hella excited about the collaboration with Chelsea DeNofa. Although Chelsea does not drive a VIP platformed car, Refined Elegance has a direct association with him through local tuner shop Secret Services. Refined Elegance is bringing some crazy ass heat to Import Reactor, and combined with Chelsea’s skill behind the wheel this looks to be quite the pairing.
When we went to go meet up Chelsea he too was in the process of preparing for the newly introduces XDC drift circuit at his sponsor shop Secret Service. Chelsea, who was making some final changes to the Bimmer was super stoked about his new green paint scheme. “Gnarly Green”, I think were the choice of words at one point. One thing is for sure, when shooting the car in full drift the Electric Money Green looks pretty damn good. Chelsea will also be drifting in D1 Japan this year as well as touring around North America tearing it up in the Xtreme Drift Circuit.
Let’s get to know Chelsea a bit…
“My drifting career began before I had an actual drivers license, at the ripe ol’ age of 15 my Mother drove my car to the first major drift event in Miami.”
“Soon after that I extended my driving abilities through schooling in Road-Racing and Stunt-Driving. Eventually I was granted an SCCA Pro racing license and started racing in several series.”
“Then I focused on the sport of drifting mainly on the east coast and then the majority of pro events throughout the States. I was also granted back to back NOPI and D1 Professional Drift Licenses and seen in several TV shows and Magazines, such as NOPI Tuner Vision, Motor Week, Super Street, D-sport, and S3 magazine.”
“This year you will see me participating a bit in D1 Japan as well as the XDC series in North America.”
When asked about Import Reactor Drift, Chelsea simply said, “I want to win.” ..and this is probably why many of the drifters are going after Chelsea. Watch that fresh paint Mr. DeNofa!
