Max Res Mondays: Steve Nuss’ Toyota Supra.

If you’re one of the 5,400 fans on our Facebook Page, then you know we have inadvertently become known for the crazy pictures we post on there that we find by scouring the internet to bring you interesting automotive pictures you don’t see everyday. Of course, we actually do read every comment on everything we post, and we also listen to any suggestions that you guys may have for us.

That said, one of our fans, Adam Crellin, suggested we should post up some wallpapers on the site. Done! When we can, we will post up a MAX RES wallpaper of a photo that the MaydayGarage guys have taken. First up, Steve Nuss’ Toyota Supra Turbo. If you’d like to know more about this super nice Supra, make sure to check out his feature!!

Be sure to click on this picture to get the 5616 x 3744 resolution! Holy crap!

Any other suggestions? Drop us a line on our Facebook Page!

Like White On Rice: Steve Nuss’ 97′ MKIV Toyota Supra.

Rice is a word me and JohnP like to use a lot here at MaydayGarage. But not like the way you’re thinking, not in the derogatory sense. You see, we are self proclaimed ricers, we like body kits, we like big wheels and we like crazy big spoilers. Most people think when modifying a car, it’s either RICE or NICE, but why can’t it be both?

Believe it or not, those "sun flares" are not photoshopped!

Over the last few years, having these things on your car meant that you were subject to be called a ricer, which usually isn’t a good thing.

If liking body kits, wings, and oversized rims and tires makes you a ricer, then fuck it, i’m a ricer because I love these things.

Event Coverage: TX2K10 Supra Nationals Dyno Day – Show’n'Shine

Greetings!
Sorry about the delay, but work was starting to pile up for me, and here we go!

The annual TX2K events in Houston is a tradition for myself and Khiem, our photographer. Earliest I can recall going to these events were back in 2002. The series of events happens over the course of 4 days, with each day being a little more different than the previous. Drag, Road course, 60 to 130 to name a few. Of all of the days, there is always one that I look forward to, and thats the Dyno Day and Show N Shine.

Ever seen so much tail?

Event Coverage: TX2K10 Supra Nationals Track Day

Every year, me and Khiem make the trek to the Horsepower holy land called TX2K, which luckily for us, is right here in our own backyard. Houston plays home to this annual event where nuts are flexed by way of dyno numbers, drag and track times. The Toyota Supra, the modern day muscle car of the import world, takes center stage as the rest of the nation looks on to see who’s on top for this year.

Who says Supras are only dyno queens?

Event Coverage: N.S.T. 5th Anniversary Drift Competition & Car Show Part 1.

This past sunday, the good folks over at NonStopTuning, a.k.a. NST, celebrated their illustrious 5 year anniversary in La Marque, TX with over one thousand close friends and family! While some businesses celebrate with cheaply made cake and cheesy party hats, NST took it a few steps further by holding a drift competition and car show held at Gulf Greyhound Park just south of Houston. Despite the bitter forty degree weather, that didn’t seem to stop the hundreds of spectators from (as JohnP so eloquently put it) getting their drift fix. Luckily, there wasn’t any disappointment from the drifters as they put on their multiple layers of clothing and kept their heads warm in their helmets.
