Event Coverage: TX2K10 Supra Nationals Track Day
Every year, me and Khiem make the trek to the Horsepower holy land called TX2K, which luckily for us, is right here in our own backyard. Houston plays home to this annual event where nuts are flexed by way of dyno numbers, drag and track times. The Toyota Supra, the modern day muscle car of the import world, takes center stage as the rest of the nation looks on to see who’s on top for this year.
Who says Supras are only dyno queens?
I.R. Drift Driver Profile: Will Parsons, Silent Green
Hailing from Houston, Will Parsons is looking to bring some old school JDM flavor to the table with his turbo AE86 Hatchback. You might have seen Will around at local events sliding around in this turbo beast in the past because he has been driving the Texas circuit for a few years now as well as the D1GP series here in North America. Recently painted a fresh “Electric Money Green”, Will plans to steal some attention while battling for the win at I.R. Drift.

Brad, who is no stranger to high speed entries will be looking forward to the track layout that I.R. Drift will have to offer. Rocking a 1UZFE in his Hachi- Brad looks to bring some heavy competition to the table.

For those of you who have lived in Houston, the TX2K Supra National events is nothing new. In fact, Peter Blach has been organizing this annual event for the past 11 years! It is this 4 day Supra Orgy that has become an annual ritual for both me and Khiem. Every year we make it to these events to check out the cleanest and meanest Toyota Supras in the United States.
