As stated before, times change, and people change, but friends are forever. One of our friends, Andrew, got married a couple of years ago, and although marriage makes you take on different priorities, passion will always remain the same. Andrew recently joined us for a trek to Dallas, TX, home of Formula Drift Round six. It’s good to know that not only does he still enjoy smoking rubber tires into the night, he still knows how to capture a great image.

We poke fun at Danh a lot, whether it’s his ride height, Fobbyness, women or his massive calves, he takes them all in stride. Somehow between traveling all over the US shooting FD events, working the graveyard shift here in Houston, and drinking beers and eating dirty chinese food, he finds the time to modify his new car, the Scion FR-S. And when Danh sees an opportunity to shoot in the right sunlight, he will randomly snap a cool photo like these two.
What's in the middle...? The white stuff.
Despite the title of this post, Danh attracts all sorts of Asian girls.
BONUS SHOT! Yes, he needs to lose the V-card, we need help
A goal for Mayday Garage this year is to be more active than we were last year and what better way to show that by attending Round 1 of FormulaD’s 10th year anniversary held on the streets of Long Beach, CA. It is also my first time back in California since the last FormulaD event. If you didn’t get a chance to read it, click HERE.
My body is ready for FormulaD this year... as well as Dai Yoshihara.
Sometimes opportunities come by chance, and some come by knowing the right people. For Chris Basselgia, I’m not sure how he got the chance to compete in this year’s Scion FR-S Tuner Challenge, but for me, I had the opportunity to shoot this Minty FReSh beast by knowing the right people.

Here’s a quick sample to get you guys through the weekend. The FR-S was trailered to this cool industrial area in Westminster, MD for me to take a few snaps. Trust me when I say the coolest thing about this car is the motor setup. It’s not what you think.
All will be revealed next week in Las Vegas, NV!

I got the chance to check out one of the cars built for The Scion FR-S Tuner Challenge over at IAG last week. This particular build is by Chris Basselgia, from Lebanon, PA. Needless to say, it should be an interesting week in Vegas.
I also had the rare opportunity to shoot this minty fresh FR-S! Stay tuned.
I’m sure by now everyone and their momma has an opinion on the Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S cars wether it be positive or negative. I generally tend to not give an opinion on any car until I actually drive one, but I have been looking for a new car replacement for quite some time now. Trying to find one of these cars in a manual transmission around Baltimore has been a task to say the least, luckily, JJ over at IAG Performance lent me the keys to their brand new BRZ for me to test drive.
Damn, the front end of these BRZ's are pretty nice.
