Announcement: MaydayGarage x Baker Tuning Presents- Wek’Fest Pre Meet 9/17

MaydayGarage and Baker Tuning are proud to present the official Pre-Meet for Wek’Fest this Saturday, the 17th at Baker Nissan!

Baker Nissan was generous enough to allow us to use their enormous facility to host our meet there. You’ll get a chance to check out some of the Baker Tuning cars as well as check out their huge shop. Food, music and free WekSos swag, and a chance to meet up with your fellow showgoers. Chicago had the same thing with Canibeat and Fizz Autosports for their Pre Meet, and now it’s our turn to show them how it’s done. If you can’t make the actual Wek’Fest Show in Ft. Worth on 10/15, you can at least attend this free meet right here in Houston.

Wash up those rides because you know we are going to take a butt ton of photos while we’re out there, and you know it’s going to be posted all over the interwebz.

For those of you who couldn’t come to our private meet, here’s your chance to strut your stuff, so bring that shit.

Destined For Greatness: 3 370Z’s Prepare for the Arrival of Top Secret

Secret Services Auto was surrounded by 370z’s last thursday as Planet Zero, Swat Performance and Baker-Jackson Nissan were dynoing their Nissan 370Z’s in preparation for Smoky Nagata’s (of Top Secret Japan fame) arrival and tune starting on March 29th, just in time before Import Reactor Unlimited. I must have counted 5 or 6 370z’s that day in front of the shop, three of which sported a small “Top Secret” decal on the rear window.

Keeping it old school: Van Luong’s 73′ Datsun 240Z.

There are people that like cars, and then there are people who are car enthusiasts. There are car enthusiasts that are brand loyal and there are some who love all kinds of cars, place of origin no matter. I would consider myself one of these types, as I have an admiration of all types of vehicles that go fast on four wheels.

And then there are car fanatics that are borderline obsessive. Van Luong falls into the latter category, and has the proof to back up that claim. The specimen in question is a pristine and restored 1973 Datsun 240Z that’s older than pretty much our entire readership.
