That East Coast Swag.

Yeah, we hate that word too, but we love this FD RX-7 on rebarreled BBS RS’s. The east coast has a very high emphasis on super low cars with ridiculously expensive wheels, hence, why we love them. Our resident east coaster, Christopher Drinkuth, got a chance to snap this cool photo of this FD at H2o in Ocean City, MD about a month ago.

Quickie: H2Oi FD3S

Yes, we know there are a lot of things going on in the car world every weekend of the calendar, but we want desperately to be there at H2Oi in Ocean City, MD where the strip is alive with some serious showstoppers. Luckily, our brother-in-arms part timer, Chris Drinkuth of Primo-Lifestyle is there taking a few snaps. Here’s one that we particularly like- A super slammed Vintage Red Mazda RX-7 on some blingtastic rebarreled BBS RS’s.

Event Coverage: College Park Tuning Spring Meet.

A few months ago, I got an email from a guy named Keith Maddock who has been following our blog for some time and knew that I had just recently moved to the East Coast. In the email, he informed me that he was one of the founding members of the University of Maryland’s car club, College Park Tuning (CPT) and that he wanted me to come and check out this year’s springtime meet held not at the University of Maryland, but at Bowie Baysox Stadium in Bowie, MD, near D.C. He went on to tell me it was a huge meet, and that it would be well worth my time because a lot of the cars get cabin fever and strut their stuff at this meet.

A Day at Import Face-Off.

It’s cold here in the NE. Not like blizzard cold, mind you, but cold enough where people just don’t plain drive their cars. If you’ve noticed recently, I haven’t put up much content from here in Maryland, and I’ve even posted two pictures of my daily car, the Miata, on the blog which isn’t something I would normally do. The reason? It’s freaking cold, man!

Random Snap: Cherry Blossoms in Maryland.

I was driving home one late afternoon, and as I was pulling up to my house, I noticed the trees looked much different. I parked. I got out, and stared at these fluffy white, pink and yellow trees. What were once just a bunch of sad looking twigs that were lined up along the Inner Harbor in Baltimore were now fully bloomed Cherry Blossoms that adorned the streets and brought so much more color.

I decided to run inside my place, grab my camera and take a few photos of these trees. I parked the daily along the street where I take Takata for walks along the Harbor.

Baltimore, MD

I think this week or next I’m taking Takata and maybe Turbo to the centennial Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC. If you’re in the DC/MD/VA area, you should definitely check it out!

I’m starting to really like Maryland.
