Whew! What a long day! I awoke today at 5:30am after going to bed at 3am, and I am seriously beat. After meeting up the guys from 786 Motoring, we headed out to stop number one: Stance of the Union held at Cobb Tuning in Plano, TX just outside of Dallas.
Don’t forget that me and JohnP will be covering all aspects of Stance of the Union today and will try our hardest to bring you all of the fresh cars and whips that the South has to offer! Then it’s off to the 16NISS shindig that night in Dallas, TX, and of course, the main course, Texas Lonestar Bash in Mineral Wells, TX, just outside of Ft. Worth.
We’ve got our camera gear charged, packed, and ready to snap. We’ll also be rolling out with one of local crews, 786Motoring as they’ll be bringing the noise with the 2JZ powered Toyota Drift machines! Keep up with us here on Mayday, and follow me on Twitter @MayDayDavidD as I tweet live at the Stance of the Union meet!
Another forum that we keep up with is www.stanceworks.com and on October 17th, 2009, they will be hosting a meet in Dallas, TX.
Personally, I love the idea that there will be a nice, quality meet here in Texas, and am excited to see what becomes of it. If you live near Dallas, you better be there! Afterwards, come join us at the Texas LoneStar Bash the next day!
This should be an EPIC weekend! See you there!
In the last few years, 240sx’s have been synonymous with drifting. Although this is still true today, many people also have an image of a busted, tracked, beat-down, multi-colored and big bodykitted car teeming with dents and “drift damage”. To many, this look is desirable and even sometimes considered “cool”, and for some others, it just won’t do.
