Houston, Tx: Speedhunters @ Access Zero 42 / Coverage pt. 1

As the title says Speedhunters.com was in Houston this past weekend. They were invited down by John Leigh (aka Emotiongear), owner of Planet Zero Japanese arcade center here in Houston, Texas. Rod Chong and Linhbergh Nguyen from SH were scoping Houston for cars mirroring their “low and stanced” November theme on Speedhunters.com. On top of the coverage of cars that were shot for the November month of Speedhunters theme, Mr. Chong and Mr. Nguyen were also present for Planet Zero’s monthly Access Zero meet. This event was big, had plenty of nice cars with a strong theme as people from Houston showed what they had for the duo from Speedhunters.com.

Mineral Wells, TX: LoneStar Bash! Coverage Pt. 1

East coast. West Coast. If you ever log online to drift oriented websites such as Drifting.com, Zilvia, Club4AG, and Ziptied, you’ll always hear about exciting, mob inducing, big drift events such as the Ziptied All-Star Bash. But where does Texas fall? East Coast? West Coast? Screw all that noise, Texas is bigger than both! So why can’t we have one here in the south where all things are big?

Enter FabricatedMotorsports‘ LoneStar Bash. 10 car tandems? Try at least 12. 50mph entry speeds? Psssssh. Try 100mph. And best of all, the best and coolest drift cars in the south were there in full force.

Dallas, TX: Stance of the Union Pt. 2

Wow, what a weekend. Just got done looking and semi-editing the photos I took from Stance of the Union held at Cobb Tuning in Plano, TX. The meet had a great atmosphere with music being spun by a local DJ (sorry, I forgot who it was!), and everyone actually walking around and mingling with others as they share wheel specs, suspension settings, or just giving props. Much nicer than people who just sit in a chair by their cars and watch people who look at their car. Such a positive enviroment!

Dallas, Tx: Stance of the Union / NOS Energy Meet / Lonestar Bash (Brief Summary)

It’s Monday and I am kicking it here at the office in awe of the weekend that just passed. It has been a while since I have been so hype about an event that has taken place in Texas. Granted, car shows do have their place when they pass through but when it boils down to it, the reality is that we have been experiencing the same format of shows over the past fifteen years, and well, they are getting pretty boring. Stance of the Union was a very focused event that encompassed the style of offset focused tuning. The event was a success in my opinion, especially for their first go around. Big props to Stance of the Union’s organizers for making this an awesome event.
