It’s a wrap!

The last six days has been the most craziest, insane and fun time I’ve had in a while. Two main photographers from Cali, add in 14 cars, five days, TX2K14, HIN, Anime Matsuri, homosexual tendencies, and a shit ton of coffee and you have one hell of a week.

Here’s a few photos for a preview!

Need more light? No problem. Every photographer has an LED light on their smartphone.

The infamous Patrick Lauder, aka Quickworks Photo, visualizing a shot.

Linhbergh setting up his gear/plank to capture Khiem's dirty ass FD

Karissa Hosek premixing her single turbo FD. She didn't know I was taking a photo

Robert Lopez and John Zhang, aka 1013mm, know their light bitch roles for Paul Morgan's S2k

Linhbergh, JZ, and Mikey sharing dim sum, STD's and laughs.

We don't condone rape. And technically this isn't because he was willing.

MUCH more to come!

Keep Tuning,

Keep Drifting Fun! The Movie!

Let me start out by saying that we’ve been waiting for this video FOREVER. It features drifting from all over the United States, including Texas! The awesome guys Will Roegge and Joshua Herron have put together a half hour eyegasm that emphasizes the most important but also the most overlooked aspect of our automotive culture – to have fun. It features local drifters such as Team Silhouette, Chelsea Denofa, Stewart Leask and a host of other guys that we’ve come to known through our blog.

JohnP and I also got a chance to catch up with the KDF duo when we visited Atlanta, GA at a local drift event which is captured here as well. If you have some time, check out this epic video, and share it with your friends, it’s definitely worth your time.

Event Coverage: MaydayGarage x SpeedHunters All Japanese Nostalgic Car Meet.

What started as silly banter on our Facebook page between me and SpeedHunter, Linhbergh Nguyen, evolved into a proposed meet of Houston’s best old school Japanese classic cars, I excitedly agreed to make it happen. When JohnP eventually found out that I had accepted the proposal from Linhbergh, JohnP had gone into full fledged freak out mode. If you know a little about John’s background, then you know when he throws a meet, you also know he likes to do things big. Enter the MaydayGarage x SpeedHunters All Japanese Nostalgic Car Meet.

Event Coverage: Mazda Miata Mini Meeting.

When the infamous Linhbergh Nguyen of SpeedHunters fame asked me to put together a makeshift Mazda Miata meet here in Houston, I thought to myself, “how in the hell am I going to pull this off?”. It’s no secret that Linhbergh fancies the Mazda roadster, and if you just google “Linhbergh Miata”, you’ll find example after example of his work.
