Wow, what a weekend. Just got done looking and semi-editing the photos I took from Stance of the Union held at Cobb Tuning in Plano, TX. The meet had a great atmosphere with music being spun by a local DJ (sorry, I forgot who it was!), and everyone actually walking around and mingling with others as they share wheel specs, suspension settings, or just giving props. Much nicer than people who just sit in a chair by their cars and watch people who look at their car. Such a positive enviroment!
Although we rolled into the meet a tad late, surprisingly, from what I heard from others, everyone who showed up pretty much stayed all the way till the end. The turnout was nice and the weather was even better, a rare treat from the Texas weather gods.
Being from Houston, it’s nice to see new cars with the same ideas and tastes from different states. Cars from all over the south were at the StanceWorks meet. Florida, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Cali plates were thrown into the mix with the locals from Texas. Veedub, bimmer and Benz owners rubbed elbows with Lexus, Infiniti and Cadillac owners as all of the cars were mixed together, place of origin no matter.
Of course, there was a good mix of luxury cars like this bangin’ IS:
And there were other cars that took a more sporty route.
I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
These are just some of the pictures I took at the meet. I’m positive JohnP has a few he’d like to share too! But we’ll save that for Part 3 of our coverage of the best weekend in Dallas, TX!
Thanks to everyone at Cobb Tuning, StanceWorks, HellaFlush and everyone else that put in time and effort to bring together an awesome plethora of car enthusiasts with fitment in mind!
