It's Exclusive, but Doberman not included.

Last Nostalgic Wednesday for 2011, what could be a good year ender? Why not a Honda CRX. Why the CRX you say? The Honda CRX was one of the fathers of the “ricer” cult in the US. Also referred as the “pocket rocket”, the CRX was a quick fix for tuners and marketed as a sporty compact car. If you’re in the market for a CRX, it’s like hunting white unicorns. I know a clean,unmolested CRX is hard to come by these days. But let’s try to up the ante and since it’s a year ender NosWeds, Let’s talk about the black unicorn, uber rare 89′ CRX Si Exclusive.

Before the Si-R, Honda had two CRX models in Japan, the 1.5X and the Si. Based on these two models, they came up with 7 other trim models. With only 350 units built, the Si Exclusive would be considered the rarest CRX.

One reason why <3 the CRX Si? Recaro

What makes this Exclusive CRX exclusive?

other than the standard Si package, the Exclusive came with;

-ABS
– Standard Glass Roof
-Power Windows, Mirror and Steering
-Custom Exterior with “Exclusive” badges ( Paint in Flint Black Metallic only) and custom Interior (Beige color, “Camel/Tan”)
-Full Leather seating and steering wheel
-Map lights
-Auto-AC (Climate Control)
-Super Sound System (double-Din head unit, bass tubes, etc.)
-Chromed interior door handles, glovebox button
-White corner lenses

This CRX Exclusive would definitely be a good collectible for any tuner who know their Honda. What I would love to see is Honda coming up with the CRZ Exclusive trim; Glass-roof,Flint Black exterior mixed with tan interior,premium sound system, and maybe some other bells and whistles like Mugen kit or wheels.

There you go guys, ending this awesome year with a pocket rocket that started a culture.

probably the only picture online of someone spotting one with Mugen cf48's
