11pm. Friday night at Greenway Coffee & Tea. I’m starting to yawn as I’m finishing up stamping the Mayday Garage logo on one thousand coffee cups. Meanwhile, David B is feverishly rewiring his Espresso machine so that it will work with our rented 6500 watt generator.
1am. I’m riding in the back of a Toyota Tundra on US-59 holding on to David B’s espresso machine that’s also next to a huge portable generator. JohnP is driving and riding shotgun is a case of Mexican Coke, Topo Chico and bags, and bags of imported coffee beans. Behind John are two EZ-ups and even more coffee beans.
3am. I’m climbing into my bed praying I will wake up in time.
5am. I get up, and grab my Macbook and camera gear and meet the Mayday guys at the Marq-E Center where David B, Fabio and JohnP are getting our booth in order for our first go at selling coffee at this month’s Coffee & Cars.
6:30am. The first cars are starting to roll in and the unthinkable happens. The espresso machine that is David B’s pride and joy (and also livelihood) shuts off due to excessive pressure in the boiler.
Welcome to another edition of Coffee & Cars!

Like we've always said, "Start em young"

Joe's Audi blended right in

Sports cars, luxury, super luxury, we don't discriminate.

That's right. Represent.

Straight gangster
This was to be our first time providing coffee at Coffee & Cars, we were absolutely stoked, so you could imagine the feeling that set in at that moment the super industrial strength espresso machine gave way. Luckily, Fabio had brewed a TON of coffee just a few minutes before and we thought we were good for a bit while David B and his friend worked on the machine. We went through that first batch of coffee in less than 30 minutes. I quickly handed my camera to Mikey and told him to start snapping pictures, while I went to go run to the coffee shop to brew more coffee with Fabio.

Three guesses as to what kind of car this is

You can't see it here, but this Caterham had a very intense yellow paint job.

Subaru family tree

Classy Camaro is classy.

The Challengers were out in full force in flavorful colors.

and down that same row were the Skittles powered NSX's.
As I was running coffee back and forth between Greenway Plaza and Coffee & Cars, I made sure that we had some shooters on the field as I’d have to sit this event out. Khiem and Andrew spread out snapping pictures while the rest of us held down the coffee tent. This was going to be an interesting event.

I really need another Lamborghini Countach poster

I really NEED a NEW Lamborghini poster

I've said this before, but variety is key at C&C.

One of my favorite cars there.

Oh you already know. Super low widebody SC's are right up our alley.

Great Scott!!!

Classic Porsche.

I doubt this screen is for cooking bacon.
7:30am. We had saved two spots next to our Coffee tent, one for a future car feature, a wild red widebody JGTC inspired Acura NSX, and another spot for one of our most favorite rides, Princeton Wong’s fire breathing Carrera 2. With these two Supercars next to our booth, we were feeling great, especially seeing everyone stopping to stare at these two super serious cars.

Sitting less than an inch and a half from the ground, watch for this car in a future feature soon!

Check out that rear fender

This Porsche was a crowd favorite. For good reason.

Mayday Garage slanging beans

David B doing what he does best as a barista

We like em all

Is it?

There was a crazy amount of chrome in this bay

Supras and big turbos: expected.

We really liked the artwork on this Mustang.

Blow me

Super clean Z33

Outside Ferrari Dealership

Now you know.
As we end on this month’s C&C, I’d like to point out one more car that caught my eye as I was running with coffee through the crowded parking lot…

Yesssss. I'm not one for super luxury cars, but a modified Bentley is too cool to ignore.

Everytime I came across this car, there was always someone taking pics of it, good thing Khiem took some too

Hmmmm Mexico plates?

Khiem was only able to shoot this car after the event was over.
