Our boy gettin' caught doing upskirts

Purple people eater

Words by Andrew Machac:

Every time I see a set of HKS Gears I get all happy. I’m just happy to still own a set, since they’re not easy to find…..NEW. And they flow great in this bay.

Upon entry that morning I spotted Raul’s EG from Carson City that made the drive out to Corona. He was one of four I spotted with Chargespeed fenders that day, and I have to say they looked serious, and from what I hear, he will be putting them to use on the track.

The highly anticipated Mike G. (Eg6Tank) His car has been out 4 years, and what a way to bring her back to the big show.

Mike doing some last minute touches on Tank before all the crowds swarm the large facility.

Preston from Function Form conversating on who knows what with Big Mike. I have a feeling it could be on where Mike wants to hold the next Food Meet.

I guess Big Mike and Preston were able to seal the deal on a place for the next Food Meet. Looks like Rob is adding it to his schedule.

ATS*Ryan(Airbagclub) and ATS*Ray were spotted early on. Be sure and grab the July Issue of Super Street for Ryan’s cover feature.

The infamous rootbeer EG owned by JP looking mean…..and “bling”.

Spotted this clean RHD CRX on Work Equip 01’s finding his spot for the Meet.

Arnel keepin her clean, and that she was. There were people around it all day so we were lucky to get the shots that we did.

DJMurdock looking for the next shot.

PGK*Jay made the long haul along with others from Georgia.

The ASM front is like TE37’s, they never get old.

DPK*David rolling in with his super rare lip.

And a car that always turns heads, especially when it’s on a nice set of VS-XX’s.

ATS*Ferd with his Spoon themed Del Sol creeping in.

And one of the organizers(Jeremy) that assists in making sure all goes well with this huge Event.

Poppin’ that whitehead!

Darth Vader rolled in style

Personally speaking, I never did like the look of motors that sit outside of hoods. But maybe that’s just me overthinking things, what do YOU think?

And for those that say Cali doesn’t have fast cars, Jerry Built is one of those that has that category covered.

Talk about a rare scene. Not too many like this around.

Bikes were plentiful, but this one caught my eye

Stepped lip M7’s on a NSeX are HOT!

Rolando(Manties) peeping the meet on his super clean Fixie.

Shaun checking his settings before he gets the day started.

Ryan(Rywire) making sure the chrome subframe blinds the crowds when the Meet hits its peak.

Gotta love the 949’s in black chrome.

Not my style, but it is very cool to see everyone’s different tastes on how a car should be done up. Different people have different motives, and I respect that.

Another example.

Okay, it’s been killing me since I saw it: whhhyyyyyyyy is this not dropped? Come on!

Matt(Rodrez) telling everyone “mang hold up I’m running this meet”. No but really, he was so busy keeping things organized and flowing, I just happened to catch him for a split second.

I happen to spot a fellow Canon user packin ……two cameras. BALLER!

The FOB squat does not apply to Japanese folk. BTW, these guys are some of the most HARDCORE honda enthusiasts there, coming all the way from Japan, one of the guys runs USDM Jam, a huge show themed in you guessed it, US style cars. Check out their site! http://www.usdmjam.com/

Just an example of how they interpret USDM style in Japan! Photo credits to USDM Jam

This creme colored 5th gen accord CD is sporting a Mugen kit, not really sure if it’s real or not.

A small portion of the ATS family from Nor-Cal.

I had the pleasure of meeting Luke from Import Tuner.

Rywire’s custom hardlines and boosterless brake setup on his CRX.

When I saw this setup, the first thing I thought of was to grab my tennis racket, cause I was gonna get hit by an entourage of flying tennis balls!

It’s always nice to have good help, as seen here assisting Big Mike with a windshield sticker.

That is a LOT of people, I’m so glad everyone I came across had deodorant on. Whew.

Salem from Phaze 2, those shoes are crazy!

Cameras were all over all day, and several of us kept spotting one another throughout the day.

This EG made the trip from Washington and sported an aggressive aero setup. Please don’t run over the kids!!

Rocket Dancer and Regas are looking proper.

One of the few non-Hondas there, but you already know why this one was in attendance…

Man I miss my white wheels on my old red EK hatch, this picture makes me shed a tear…

RC cars were allowed to be non-Hondas from what I heard. Just a rumor though.

Or maybe nobody had the balls to tell this guy he couldn’t have his RC car here

Who would have thought green and orange would look so good? Leave it up to MikeG to bring that vision to reality!! His new Enkei PF01’s were customized to flow with the theme of the new Tank.

Bromance. DPK and Phaze 2 going over a master plan. I wonder whats getting dipped/plated next.

Rolando making his way the through the sea of people. He should clothesline someone for fun.

Everything is lower in Cali!

The Gillman’s holding down the NWP4Life booth.

Autofashion kept it live, and upbeat with music all day. They also brought a couple of their Integras out

A closer look at the black chrome 949’s.

I’m a sucker for boobies (pun intended).

ATS*Anh’s super clean ITR had people looking for awhile with all the detail that was packed in the bay. Another Fred Chapman inspired build.

ATS*Ferd’s Spoon’d out bay.

Three’s a company

The crowd gets bigger somehow

Spotted a friends Element SC on the way back from parking lot. I’m thinking of trading in my IS250 for one of these, it’s way more practical IMO.

This offset/stance movement is represented at Eibach as well, as this Integra shows.

Blacked out corner lamps? I think not, more like functional air ducts.

Reza’s functional built Integra with his new downforce setup. And if you think its just for looks, think again, he tears the track up with the FFSquad guys.

What? I know you’re not laughing. You KNOW you want to be rocking this GhettoBlaster with your iPod.

Mmmmm….. RS Betas

Orange drank.

ATS*AJ, Jason, and ATS*Chris were all enjoying the beautiful weather and Meet.

The mandatory crazy hairdo picture.

“Thats my bike punk!” Can’t get enough of this bike!!

The plate sums it up.

Gils track prepped ITR being a showstopper too

Woof woof

Okay, now it’s getting out of hand… Check out all of those people that love Hondas!

Big Mike and ATS*Anh checking out something that apparently is breathtaking

The man himself, Mike G keepin a close eye on the Tank. I don’t blame him.

DC5 Brian’s super clean RSX is straight blingin’

Salem decided to have a duel of the long range lenses. I won BTW.

Rywire’s ultra clean CRX was a must see for a lot of Honda fans.

TE’s, Endless, and Azenis, are screaming for track use and you better believe Ryan will put it all to use. His car not only looks great, but performs great too.

And that other non honda: Mikey’s xB taking up the VIP spot.

Whew, that’s a lot of photos, but there’s more! You’ll have to forgive me on my lateness, as I work a 60+hr work schedule, and am trying to find time to post and share all of my photos with everyone! It’s 3:30am, and I’m delirious. Part 3 is coming, I swear!
