If there was any better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than with a bunch of Ferraris, I would like someone to step up and tell me so right now. As most of the Mayday Audience is aware, we are VERY partial to Ferraris, and this past Sunday we got to feast our eyes on plenty at Houston’s 5th annual Ferrari festival. From 360s to Ferrari F40s, plenty were out in attendance. Although slightly smaller than last years event due to weather, it was still a blast. Nothing like a bit of eye candy to cap off your weekend.

Yes.

Being that my favorite car of all time is the Ferrari F40 it was a splendid surprise to not only see one, but two of these super gems in attendance at the festival. Something about this car has made itself remain virtually ageless through the test of time.

If it wasn’t enough that free fajitas, sushi, cupcakes and drinks were available all day at the event Ill tell you what was; Ferrari owners were letting die hard stallion fans take a seat in a few seltected whips taht were in attendace at the show. I think this was a few Ferrari owners’ way of saying that we are all on the same level, which was cool as hell.

Damn good too!

Anyone could take a seat.

But nothing matches Dino Style, 196 SP style that is. Now I am not sure if this was the real deal but someone told me at the event that this was a Ferrari 196 SP. From what I understand there were only 10 of these things in existence and were a prototype. If anyone knows the 411 on the following, feel free to pitch int. All I know is that it looks amazing.

And in closing, the new 458 in white. Although this car is starting to grow on me it hasn’t hit me 100% yet. I can’t wait until people start tuning on these bad boys, and it is no lie, the ass end of the 458 is a BEAUT!
