As I’m writing this on my way back from Mineral Wells, TX in DFan’s comfy 4 door civic, I can’t help but think how dedicated a lot of Texas Drifters are. I bitch and moan about a 5 hour drive to a sleepy town that nobody has heard of, but these guys not only make that same drive, but they also wrench on their cars all the way up to the last minute for these drift events held by Fabricated Motorsports. These guys are pretty serious when it comes to making these events, and this event was no different.

Chelsea DeNofa shows the other TX drifters how it's done
This LS1 powered S13 sits pretty long enough for me to take a snap
But make no mistake, the LS1 is used the way it was intended to, and the crowds loved it.
A pretty clean Zenki S14 free of vinyl is a rare sight these days.
B-Rad's ultra insane Lexus V8 swapped 86 Coupe is so fast, the bumpers melt off

Josh Steele and his shop, NevrSlo were also in attendance
Once again, the classiest of chassis, the SMT Chaser made the trek to Mineral Wells
There's probably a reason for this many rims and tires in one place
There's your reason!
Stew's car fit the HellaFlush profile to a T. Slammed and poking, but FUNCTIONAL.
WTF happened here?! More on this later...
Of course, this doesn't stop him from drifting at all, ha ha
Speaking of Hellaflush
Fresh from the 512 Project in Austin, straight to a track in Mineral Wells
