So this past weekend I was rummaging about town and I came across this “top secret” tuner’s house that was hidden in a nook on the west end of town. Well, I wouldn’t say secret, but you get what I am saying. I love it when people build crazy ass rides out of the garage of their homes. This “location” in particular is owned by a Japanese gent who just so happens to be part of the Mayday Collective and an associate of our pals over at Planet Zero. When we stopped by the house this past weekend a few parts had just flown in from Japan, one of which was a set of Greddy 8 piston BBK for the 370z as well as the 6 piston rear from TOP SECRET Japan. Featured here is the front 8 piston with disk. Continue on for more pictures, it really doesn’t get much sexier than this.

I mean really, you know you are getting high end parts when your packaging is like this. When the disks were pulled out of the package, no one, and I mean no one wanted to break the seal. It looks so good! But, it needed to be done, and our friend ripped the packaging..oh well.

Trust Me
Here is our friend James holding the Greddy Disk, all I have to say about this is that it is going to look gangster as hell on the 370, baller!

I guess size does matter...
So a couple of weeks ago we had released a feature on here of Mayday Garage going to local tuner shop Secret Services and checking out a few 370z’z that were going to be blessed by the one and only Smoky Nagata of Japan. Well, these brakes will be sitting pretty on one of those pretty white Fairladys.

Ok, now one of things I heard last week was that Endless USA had closed their doors over on the west coast because they could no longer afford to have an office here in America. I know it is old news, but it is kind of crazy because they make a great high end brake setup and have literally been choked out of the American market. This of course done by a slowing economy yes, but mainly I believe by “brake” companies that are manufacturing their units in China and marketing themselves on par with higher end companies. I can only imagine how difficult it is for a company to compete in a foreign market when other manufacturers are pitching their product at pretty much a 50% retail cut of what a set of Endless brakes would cost. To top this all off, it confuses the shit out of growing tuners who actually think that these cheaper brake setups are actually comparable, definitely false advertising. It is sad that the American tuner market would actually compare a set of K-Sport brakes off of EBAY to the likings of high end companies like Endless, Greddy, Brembo..etc etc. As you can see here, the quality of these brakes are superb.

8 Pot goodness
Man, I cannot get past this look.

Meant to be together
Stay tuned for the coverage of these bad boys going on the 370z.
