Hailing from Dallas Texas, the home of the Dallas cowboys and the biggest football stadium on the Planet is Stewart Leask, in the hunt for the win at Import Reactor 2010. Stew Leask, who has been drifting since 2004 will be traveling in Houston to compete with his full D-Max LS1 swapped S13 240sx. Don’t be fooled by his profile picture with his girlfriend, (who arguably has a cleaner car than him), he has one objective, and that’s the win.

Stew has also been picked up and sponsored for I.R. Drift by local car crew “Team Sunworks“. Team Sunworks, who will be in attendance with over 25 cars at Import Reactor will have quite the presence at I.R. Drift. Stew has expressed how excited he is about working with Sunworks for I.R. Drift. When we asked Stew about what he thought about Import Reactor, he had said, “I see Import Reactor Drift as uniting car enthusiasts from different groups with the same interests, it doesn’t get much better than this.” We couldn’t agree more.

Hard Park x Drift
When we were on our tour across Texas this weekend and ventured out to Dallas to visit our friend Stew we were super tired from driving about 600 miles that day. Low and behold it was Stew’s girlfriends birthday which seemed to fit perfectly in our plans, but there was one condition, we couldn’t drink too much, as the next day we HAD to shoot his car. One thing to another and we are dreading the next morning. We woke up and immediately Mayday went to the International House of Pancakes to try to find the solution to the awesome hangover that was upon us. But unfortunately, a few pancakes and eggs did NOT do the trick, that was, until we rolled up to Stew’s house. It is amazing how a sweet ass car can make a hangover go away. Also, Aubre, Stew’s girlfriend’s car was sitting right next to his S13 in the garage, an immaculate Silvia S14 that we will be featuring soon on MaydayGarage
. Man, win, win.

Flush Much?
Let’s get to know Stew a bit…
“My career in drifting started in Texas, 2004, through grassroots events held by Texas Drift and Daily Drifter. Starting at 1-2 events per month non-stop until that just wasn’t enough. I then started branching out to events in Oklahoma and Louisiana until the NOPI Drift Series began. I placed 2nd at their first qualifier and have since then competed and placed in their series from coast to coast. I have traveled the United States from Miami, Florida all the way to Los Angeles, California competing not only in NOPI events but many other highly competitive and grassroots events.”

Keepin' it clean.
“I enjoy competing in national events. It is not only an opportunity to travel cross country and compete against drivers with all different skill levels, but it allows me to continue to thrive in the growing sport of drifting. It provides the ability for me to showcase drifting at its finest while promoting my sponsors and my ability to succeed on a professional level.”

Yup, the interior too
“My dedication level is very strong and in turn makes me a solid competitor. Not one wreck or mishap has caused me to drop from a competition or miss a single event. From competing in NOPI with a broken collar bone to revamping a completely totaled car in less than a week for NOPI California 07, nothing has slowed me down.”

8 banger
“In the time span since drifting was first introduced as a sport in the United States, drifting for me personally has grown from a hobby to a career. I embrace having the ability to build a solid competition car, and being able to promote the companies that make it possible; while bringing the sport of drifting to millions worldwide.”

Line em' up
Stew also has a message for his fellow drifter Russell, “Step aside, because Chelsea is mine for the taking.”
Serious business.
